Senco Gold, the renowned pan-India jewellery retail player, witnessed an overwhelming response to its highly anticipated initial public offering (IPO) worth Rs 405 crore. The IPO was subscribed a staggering 73.35 times, reflecting the immense interest from investors. The company has now announced the date for the allotment of shares, which is scheduled for July 11, 2023.
The subscription status of the Senco Gold IPO showcased a remarkable participation across different investor categories. Retail Individual Investors subscribed 15.46 times, while non-institutional investors displayed overwhelming interest with a subscription of 64.99 times. Qualified Institutional Buyers demonstrated exceptional enthusiasm, subscribing at an impressive 180.94 times.
Senco Gold’s IPO comprises a fresh issue of up to Rs 270 crore and an offer for sale of up to Rs 135 crore. The price range for the IPO stands at Rs 301-317 per share. It is worth mentioning that the company had already raised Rs 121.5 crore from anchor investors earlier in the week. The net proceeds from the fresh issue, amounting to Rs 196 crore, will be utilized for various purposes.
